Groundwater levels at the borehole in Finchdean are very slowly falling. In the last week, the level has fallen by 9cm.
Flooding is expected to be affecting a small number of cellars in Finchdean, Dean Lane End and Rowlands Castle. Road flooding will be deep in all villages. Sewerage system impacts could also be possible. Mostly dry weather is forecast from Monday 02/03/2026 to Friday 06/03/2026. Groundwater levels will continue to slowly fall over the next week.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
