Groundwater levels are high at our Hodcot borehole affecting West Ilsley, East Ilsley, Compton, Chilton and West Hagbourne where flooding of low-lying areas roads is possible. The groundwater level is higher than normal for this time of year at this location and is continuing to rise. Due to the nature of groundwater flooding, this situation could continue for several weeks or longer.
