River Trent in Nottinghamshire

River levels remain high. Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including communities near to the River Trent, Queens Drive Park and Ride and Stoke Lane at Stoke Bardolph, Caythorpe road and Hoveringham road, and cellars of low-lying properties at Cavendish Bridge. The B6540 Tamworth Rd at Sawley, Thrumpton Lane at Thrumpton will be affected. River levels at the Colwick and Shardlow Gauges remain high. We are closely monitoring the situation . Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water & avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses.
